RODENT RAPTURE

This is the biggest project I've ever worked on.
For a really long time, I wanted some kind of rodent takeover on my page because I thought Jerboas looked really funny and I hinted at it in the past. I began to plan things out in the beginning of October 2019 and began actually working in mid October. I posted several hints to it on my story (see the RODENT RAPTURE highlight on Instagram). I had to cut some content and ideas along the way, but I was able to finally finish on May 5th, 2020 (although it was delayed, original date was April 31st). I released it that same day.
It was made in Scratch, and I spent nearly 7 months working on it, almost daily. It would make my day if you played it :)
and if you do please read the information to the right of the games. Not enough people do that, it has some important tips for each individual game.

This lore is not explained in the game, but this is what happened before the game takes place, as well as other info that had to be said.Rodents finally snapped. They have been enduring the torture and slander humans have been putting them through for centuries. They finally decided to put an end to it by organizing a full scale attack on Earth, aiming to seize the planet under their control and kill every human alive.
Gooze, a purple blob that has a sword named Liberator and 2 guns named Glock & Llock (pronounced yock), has been living in the sewers for a long time. It escaped a laboratory where it was being artifically created to be the wielder of the ancient weapons found by archaeologists. Humans cannot fully harness the power of the weapons, only an unknown organism can, and they had to use the DNA found on the weapons to recreate it. They had no clue what the organism looked like, so it was just coming out as a blob. That blob became Gooze. However, due to a miscalculation on the liquid Gooze was being held in, it awoke and escaped the facility, as it wanted to be free.
Gooze rarely goes up to the surface, as it runs on a special chlorophyll-like substance, which is strangely purple and can store a lot of energy for long periods of time. It stays in the sewers as it is the safest place, as it can rarely be seen by others. When it does go up to the surface, no one has ever reported seeing it. As Gooze is a blob, it can separate into tinier blobs at will and control them individually. It does not have a brain, rather information is stored all throughout the being.
Gooze does not have a gender, feelings, or a need to reproduce. It is a blob. All Gooze wants to do is stay alive.While inside the sewers, Gooze heard all of the noise constantly going on above the surface. Gooze surfaced only to see the rodents were causing the downfall of humanity. The rodents also began to take over the sewers.
Their biggest mistake was to threaten the safe habitat of Gooze.
Gooze decided to go after the rodents so it could get its "home" back. It found the Jerboa Boss and attacked it. The Jerboa Boss fled to its secret base under the sewage system, and Gooze followed.
It walked through the first gate, and that is where Battle 1 begins.In short, Gooze did not go after the rodents to save the humans, but rather to claim back its habitat. Gooze is not selfish, it is just trying to protect itself. Gooze cannot really feel emotion.-A Jerboa stumbles upon a crystal in the desert. It investigates, and upon touching it, it receives a massive shock, resulting in the loss of its arms and reproductive system. It fell unconscious, and when it awoke, it had enhanced intelligence and strength. It was able to pick up the crystal with its tail, and so, it hopped away holding it.It eventually found the urban setting, and upon seeing many accounts of injustice performed on rodents, it decided to communicate to its fellow people and join together an uprising. The Jerboa Boss had a drive for only justice, and that is also why the rodents chose him as their leader, along with his high intelligence. The Jerboa Boss sent other rodents on a quest to inform more rodents, while he and other rodents created their base under the sewage system.
They used the Power Crystal to power their base and collaborated to build and create all of the Battles you see in game.The game was originally not planned to have this much lore but it all just slowly came to me so why not
